Agape Series

"Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"
Matt 7:9-11

Finally introducing Agape series online!

Have you had an Agape experience? What does Agape mean to you?

  1. The three words that strike me when I read the word AGAPE is TOLERANCE, KINDNESS AND PATIENT Only when we show tolerance to the conceived wrongs others do to us, can we choose to respond with kindness even if do not feel like doing so. And only by being tolerant, kind and patient with ourselves and others, we would serve as instruments for the agape love of the father to be manifested in each one of us.

  2. Light is another word for the all encompassing aspect of divine love and one of the poignant attribute of light is an unrestrained desire to give and share itself.

  3. So do you mean the "light" referred to in Isaiah 60 is Agape?

  4. The nature of Light is to give, spread warmth, encourage clarity, clarity increases a shift in thinking and the shift in thought process leads to kindness to oneself and others and the need to tolerate darkness with patience.
Its the first attribute the creator created to share with us.

  5. Agape love speaks about sacrificial love....unconditional. It's what Jesus showed us. In hurt, in pain, in struggles, in tiredness, in sickness, in inconveniences....we still reach out to love. It's powerful love. This is the love that transforms lives and attract people to Christ.

  6. I'm not a teen anymore but I think I can still learn from this.
